  • Do Lash Extensions Damage The Natural Lash?
Lash extensions at Stacy Ink do not damage natural lashes. Natural lashes will always remain healthy when seeing a technician who is properly trained and goes over maintenance and hygiene with you. We use an isolation method bonding ONE lash extension to each of your own individual lashes. We also check your lashes and the skin around your eyes to make sure everything around your eyes is healthy, clean and that your own lashes are growing strong. With proper aftercare and touch-ups done every 2-3 weeks, there is no need to "take a break" from the extensions. Although we have many clients who have worn lashes consistently for 5+ years without no damage to the natural lash, everyone's reactions can be different.
  • Why Are Lashes Different At Stacy Ink?

  • How Long Do Lash Extensions Last?
2-3 weeks. This may vary depending on each client due to different lifestyles, natural lash growth cycles, and maintenance. To retain full and clean lashes, they need a touch-up every 2 weeks. During this, Stacy replaces the lashes that have shed and have grown out. Some women are able to push their touch up to 3 weeks depending on care and a slow growth cycle. We recommend you book your touch-ups at the end of your appointment.

  • What Is Nano?

  • How Does Nano Work?
All Cosmetic Tattoo services begin with mapping. NO ONE gets cosmetic tattooing performed without the approval of the pre-drawn shape. Our artists take precise measurements of angles and face structure to draw the desired service with a wax pencil. Once this is completed, the client and artist consult and compare what is the best possible way to achieve the desired look. We take great pride in providing the best NATURAL-looking services at our studio. Although this is your face and you may want a certain look, it is our extensive training and expertise to guide you to the most suitable look. What you see on social media is doctored, filtered, and may not be realistic. Nano is a micro-pigmentation service that simulates the look of natural eyebrows with a digital machine stroke technique. Similar to microblading, but less invasive as nano is one tiny needle that implants tiny dots with a machine simulating realistic hair strokes. This service is preferred because there is little to no bleeding, no swelling, no scar tissue build-up, and no pain (unlike microblading). Nano is very precise, and technical, and requires a lot of skill. As of right now, Stacy Ink is the only cosmetic tattoo artist in the area with this skill. It is customizable as each client has different eyebrow hair patterns and needs. Stacy does NOT microblade. This is too damaging to the skin and therefore not performed in our studio.
  • Is Nano Painful?
Every client has different levels of pain tolerance. Most of our clients say it feels similar to the pain of waxing, some clients actually fall asleep! Numbing solution may be used towards the end of service as needed, and breaks are permitted.

  • Will My Tan Transfer?
Your tan will not transfer after your first shower. It will be reduced by water or swimming, an aftercare guide will be provided at your appointment.
